Care, matched personally: Palco

Palco is a platform designed to help Australians find allied care practitioners with greater ease. Research shows positive therapeutic outcomes often depend on the strength of the relationship between patient and practitioner, a principle Palco places at the centre of its experience. We named the platform to reflect this idea, amalgamating ‘pal’ with ‘allied care’ and ‘connection’ to express a service built around relationships as much as functionality.

As a challenger to the market, Palco needed an identity that could clearly communicate its purpose while standing apart from legacy technical, system-led competitors. While the platform is powered by sophisticated technology, its value lies in making the experience feel human – shifting it from transactional to relational. The identity reflects this through the ‘Pal’ marque, a symbol that’s direct, personal, and accessible.

The website translates the identity into a clear, intuitive experience for both users and practitioners. A considered structure guides users from search to match with ease, while subtle micro-interactions and a suite of bespoke iconography create a sense of responsiveness and care throughout. Live Site
