A brand identity for Prose, a communication agency at the intersection of culture & identity.
At the intersection of culture and identity.
Prose, a London-based communication agency, works alongside a network of high-profile talent – from literature to the silver screen – to deliver quality writing, beautiful design and compelling film production. Having planned and produced campaigns for iconic brands such as Cartier, Louis Vuitton and Prada, the team behind Prose also edits INQUE, a new literary magazine, and produces Port, the long established and award-winning lifestyle biannual.
Our new identity for Prose draws its precepts from a bespoke logotype. Inspired by historic British type design, the elegant word mark is characterised by its soft serifs and calligraphic feel. The logotype is supported by parentheses, created by dividing the ‘O’ into two segments, making for a versatile framing device to dynamically present the agencies output across their website and social media channels.
The website allows users to dive deep into Prose’s project archive.

Prose: A literary medium distinguished from poetry especially by its greater irregularity and variety of rhythm and its closer correspondence to the patterns of everyday speech.
